Why do I get reconfiguration error with Intel® Cyclone® V, Arria® V, and Stratix® V devices when the POF check option is enabled in the Remote Update IP?

Description

When you instantiate the Remote Update IP with the EPCQ-A device and have the POF Check option enabled, reconfiguration of your Intel® Cyclone® V, Arria® V, and Stratix® V device may fail.

Resolution

Use EPCS instead of EPCQ-A with the same density when instantiating the Remote Update IP.

This problem is fixed starting with the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition Software version 19.1.”
