Why do Agilex™ 7 FPGA devices fail to configure in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.3 when reconfiguring from a previous version design?

Description

Due to a known problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.3, you might experience configuration failures on Agilex™ 7 FPGA devices Rev A when reconfiguring from bitstreams generated in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 19.4.

Resolution

To work around this problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.3, you must reconfigure from a bitstream generated with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 20.1 or later.
