Why can’t I generate a multi-channel variant with KR and RSFEC enabled in the  E-Tile Hard IP for Ethernet Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA IP?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Software version 19.1, the number of channels that are allowed to be created with both KR and RSFEC enabled in the E-Tile Hard IP for Ethernet Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA IP has been limited to ‘1’.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in Intel® Quartus® Prime Software version 19.2. Up to (4) channels will then be allowed when KR and RSFEC are enabled.
