Why are there functional errors on an IO pin in my Agilex™ 5 design?

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Edition Software version 24.1, you might see functional errors on an IO pin in Agilex™ 5 designs. A timing error causes this problem, so that it will depend on voltage and temperature. The problem only affects Agilex™ 5  devices.

Resolution

To work around this problem, download and install the patches below for the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.1

• Quartus® Prime ProEdition Software v24.1 Patch 0.08 for Linux (.run)
• Readme for Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software v24.1 Patch 0.08 (.txt)

This problem is fixed starting with the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 24.3.
