Why am I seeing framing errors in soft PCS for the F-tile Interlaken Intel® FPGA IP design with FHT PMA type and PAM4 modulation?

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.3 and earlier, there are framing errors in the F-tile Interlaken Intel® FPGA IP design with FHT PMA type and PAM4 modulation, which may cause users not able to align when interoperating with other interlaken designs.

Resolution

To work around this problem, you have to upgrade the F-tile Interlaken Intel® FPGA IP to the 8.0.0 or newer versions.
