Serial Lite IV FPGA IP designs must be manually upgraded to IP version 5.5.4 in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 25.3

Description

Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 25.3, when opening a design that includes a Serial Lite IV FPGA IP version of 5.5.3 or earlier, you will not observe that Quartus automatically triggers the IP upgrade to the latest IP version 5.5.4.

Resolution

To work around the above problem, you should manually upgrade the Serial Lite FPGA IP to version 5.5.4.

This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus Prime Pro Edition software.
