No hardware support in version 20.4 of the Intel® Quartus® software release for the Common Public Radio Interface (eCPRI) Intel FPGA IP core on Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA devices.

Description

Due to a problem in the IP, there is no support for designs using the eCPRI Intel® FPGA IP to run on hardware in Intel Agilex® 7 devices. The eCPRI Intel® FPGA IP core user guide describes that Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA (E-tile devices) are currently in Advance Support; only simulation and compilation are supported.

Resolution

This problem is planned to be fixed in a future release of the Intel® Quartus® Prime software when Intel Agilex® 7 FPGA (E-tile devices) support will move to Preliminary or Final.
