Error occurred while reading with ReadFile: juart-terminal: error: Gathering input from STDIO

Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 22.4, you might see the error when inputing characters from the Nios® V command shell on the Windows operating system:

Error occurred while reading with ReadFile: juart-terminal: error: Gathering input from STDIO

Resolution

To work around this problem, replace the juart-terminal.exe file in this directory <quartus install dir>/22.4/quartus/bin64 using the juart-terminal.exe.

 This problem is fixed beginning with Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 23.2.
