<your instantiation>.a10_native_fixed_point_dsp_0: 'Scanout' port cannot be used in this mode

Description

Due to a problem with the Arria® 10 Native Fixed Point DSP IP core, you will receive this error when you select "Enable scanout port" with any of the following modes selected:

• m18x18_plus36
• m18x18_systolic
• m27x27 

Resolution

There is no work around for this problem, other than to de-select Enable scanout port or choose a different mode.

This problem has been fixed starting in Quartus® Prime software release v17.0.
