Reading analog data into DE2 board

I am using DE2 board and I need to read analog data. But i couldn't find suitable I/O ADC interface on this board. I am wondering if there is anyway to read analog signals into the board.I am hoping for your expert suggestions.

I'm guessing that you can use an ADC chip like 0809 to GPIO pin. Actually I'm also working on ADC interfacing but I couldnot figure out how to synchronize the ADC clock and FPGA board clock. Can someone also answer this question pls?

    Hi.

@mmaharjan, that ADC is very very soft to waste a FPGA for it...just a simple microcontroller could do that job easily.

But If you want to try that, build a counter, and get some high bit of this, to get the out clk in syncro & turn down the ADC clk freq.

Did you read about THDB_ADA (ADA) daughter board from Terasic ?

    Regards.
