I unable to create a .vwf file

Hi MAlha,

Vector Waveform File (.vwf) feature has been removed in Quartus II version 11.1 Web Edition. Quartus II Web Edition Software v9.1s2 is the last version supported for (.vwf) editor.

The version 9.1 can still be downloaded. It also doesn't require a license anymore. Check link below.

Btw, you can write an HDL testbench and simulate in Modelsim, it can be done as quickly as creating a waveform.
