TCP/IP stack

I would like to develop a device with an Arria 10 with an Ethernet connection.
I read in your document " A new TCP/IP stack is planned for a future release of Intel® Quartus® Prime Design Suite" to replace NicheStack TCP/IP stack.
When this new stack will be available?
Or, where can I find it if it is ready?
Thanks

  • Hi Alain_Zins,

The info I get is as below:

"NiosV will have the new stack I believe in 22.1 It is an opensource license, I believe apache."

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Aik Eu

    Hi,

I already used HPS Ethernet connection with a Cyclon V and Arria 10 but now, I would like to develop a new device without HPS.

So, I want to add an Ethernet link into my FPGA.

I read into Intel document “A new TCP/IP stack will replace the NicheStack TCP/IP”.

    My questions:

    Is the new stack ready?

    Where can I get it?

Does the new stack request a license such as NicheStack?

If it isn't ready yet. When can I expect to get it?

    Best regards

    Hello

This link doesn't answer to my question. This link is the reason of my question!

    This link mentions!

"The NicheStack TCP/IP Stack software and driver package are discontinued starting with Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 21.3 and Intel Quartus Prime Standard Edition software version 21.1. A new TCP/IP stack is planned for a future release of Intel Quartus Prime Design Suite."

    So, my question is always:

When the new TCP/IP stack is scheduled?

Which kind of license will be required?

    Regards

    Alain
