SOC EDS installation issue

we are planning a project base on Arria 10 SOC FPGA, and for this device, handbook suggest to use Quartus prime pro version rather than standard version. because we need to develp ARM firmware, bo...

    i doubt my corporation firewall blocked the file download, and i tried to download the file "alternatives-1.3.30c-10.tar.bz2" from the link per the setup.log, then copy it to the foler: "C:\intelFPGA_pro\20.1\embedded\cygwin_setup\https%3a%2f%2fcygwin.mirrors.hoobly.com%2f\x86_64\release\alternatives"

    after these done, i tried to run the command again, now the cygwin was installed successfully!

    now i believe this case can be closed and thanks for your support.

Hi,

1. The latest version available for SoC EDS Pro is v20.1. It is compatible to work with any version of Quartus Prime Pro Software.

2. SOC EDS v21.4 was not available currently.

3. It is not compulsory. You may use SoC EDS Pro is v20.1 with Quartus Prime Pro v21.4.

4. We don't have documentation for questions above currently.

Now i have installed Quartus prime pro V21.4 on my laptop(win10 OS).

and i am installing the SOC EDS v20.1 per instructions on below link:

I have installed the SOC EDS and ARM DS already.

now i am installing the Cygwin but error occurs with below logs. i tried several times with the same error. Will you pls help to check the reason and tell me how to do the next step?
