4 years agoArria 10 SoC ARM: How fast can sustain writes be to a PCIe SSD?
i'm trying to decide if I should go with an ARM to write to an SSD (PCIe Gen 3) or use a logic driven IP core. I know the logic IP core is faster, and I have used that method previously for SATA designs. But moving to NVMe SSD, i'm wondering what kind of sustained writes (streaming video over 15 minutes in duration) I can hope to achieve using the ARM?
I'm having a hard time finding any data on this
Thanks

By searching, I found this article on ARM A9 using NVME with performance by Xilinx.
