Hi,
as far as I am aware of, there are no products with "UB3" hardware offered except for Agilex 5 dev kit. Respectively there was no need to include the driver in Quartus Std. releases. I guess it will be avaible starting with next Quartus 25.x Std. If you need it now to support your own programming hardware, you can install 25.1 Pro Standalone Programmer and use it's jtagserver instance for all Quartus instances, the default action when it's installed last.- PrivateIsland

That's a great idea. I didn't realize that Signal Tap Pro would connect with a device supported only by Standard. It does seem to work, at least with UB2. We're going to continue experimenting with this approach.
However, I would still like to know from Altera their plans to support UB3 (FTDI only) on Standard.
