When I compile and open one of the report files or open the RTL view I get the following error message and Quartus crashes when I close the message:

Fatal Error: Segment violation at 0xffffffffffffe8 Module: quartus Platform: linux64 OS name Ubuntu 16.04.5 OS version 16 Address bit 64 Version 18.1.0 Build 625 Edition Standard

Hi,

Do you open the report files or RTL viewer during the compilation or after the compilation?
