Video Lincence

Hi,

I just want to know whether a separate licence is required for SDI, Clocked Video Output and Test Pattern Generator IP cores.:)

I can compile the design of Clocked Video output and Test Pattern Generator IP cores but unable to simulate it in Model-Sim Version 6.4a starter edition. What may be the problem?

I used Arria II GX fpga, Quartus version 11.1. I use SDI IP Core. I'm using the clocked out and the test pattern IP in the same DUT. The error in Model sim is displayed as

((# ** Error: (vcom-7) Failed to open design unit file "D:/2015/March/PDLU_/Project_Outputs/PLD/Design/Processor Board/codebase/Release 0.6/PDLU_video_new_requirment/AS_RU_Application/Source/RTL/Video Color Pattern/720p_hd/clocked_out_720p/clocked_out_720p.vho" in read mode.))

    Can you elaborate about what error you have seen in modelsim-altera starter edition? Are you using SDI or SDI II? Which quartus version you use to generate the SDI & clocked video output IPs?

    You may also wana try with the latest Modelsim version to see if error still exist? It would be great to share some screenshot of errors observed for better understanding.
