VHDL compiler existing

Hi

I am using modelsim-altera Starter edition 6.5e along with dsp builder v6.0.

when I try to compile vhdl test bench file(created by signal compiler) in modelsim a message appear in the Transcript window of modelsim:

"Vhdl compiler existing."

please suggest me what I have to do now??

    do you really mean existing? or exiting?

    If it's exiting, its usually because you have errors. Find out what the errors are and fix them.

    Hi Tricky!

    you are right there are errors.

    Actually dsp builder use library 'dspbuilder' that I think modelsim do not have.

    As i am using modelsim Starter edition 6.5e (it is for use with altera software v10.0).But i want to use it for simulation of quartus II and dsp builder v6.0

    In my simulation design DSP Builder v6.0 I have used deinterlacer,chroma resampler, color space converter and scaler megacore functions.(dsp builder 10.0 or 10.1 do not have these vip megacore functions) altera shifted these megacore functions to Quartus II 10.0 or 10.1.

    please let me know if there is a way to use modelsim-altera Starter edition 6.5e dsp builder v6.0!!!!!
