Using Quartus and Nios IDE with Ubuntu 10.04

In Ubuntu 9.10, I had to add these lines to /etc/environment to make Quartus and the Nios IDE work: 


QUARTUS_ROOTDIR=/opt/altera9.0/quartus
SOPC_KIT_NIOS2=/opt/altera9.0/nios2eds
SOPC_BUILDER_PATH_90=/opt/altera9.0/nios2eds
(replace version numbers as required)
