Use modelsim to simulate FPGA hardware?

Hi there,

I have a very simple logic that I design in FPGA (sof file) and I would like to know that if I can use modelsim to simulate that physical logic hardware or there is other way that I can see the register in hardware.

Thanks,

Sean

You can have quartus export a gate level netlist and then simulate that if that's what you are looking for.

But if you are doing this to meet DO-254 requirements, then the tool is probably the best way to go.
