USB Blaster won't program via MV interface?

I can program the old UP-2 (ByteBlaster II) within WIN7 and a USB Blaster but can't program a (EPM7064SLC44) via a simple MV hardware buffer (HC244) interface?? Is the USB Blaster NOT ByteBla...

Hi, it's a simple EPM7064SLC board with a HC244 buffer interface that can be programmed with a ByteBlaster MV cable. The USB Blaster can't program it. Although I can program a UP-2 with the USB Blaster which is compatible with a ByteBlaster II cable.

So I guess the question is... how do I make the USB Blaster program a MAX 7000S device via an MV buffer (HC244) hardware configuration?
