usb-blaster does not work

hi

I downloaded quartus version 12.0 because using altera DE2-115 board

before. i was using quartus 9.1 with DE2 board, the usb blaster worked properly.

now i cannot program the fpga cyclone IV E because cannot see the usb-blaster in programmer tool.

The driver is already installed. once i reinstalled it after uninstalling quartus version 9.1 web edition and installing quartus version 12.0 but still not working.

    I had to downgrade from Quartus 12 back to 11.1sp2 because 12.0 keeps "losing" the USB blaster. One day it shows up, the next day it does not. Each time it disappears in Q12 I have to re-install the driver multiple times to bring it back. It was not worth the hassle.

    (That is on Win7 64-bit)
