Signal Tap Analyser is not working?

The Signal Tap Analyser is not working when we are loading "*.hexout" file,generated by the quartus tool, through processsor and also tried by enabling CvP option. But none of the procedures work. Can anyone, please provied the tool settings and device setting that we need to consider if any?

    Could you load the .hexout file using the In-System Memory Content Editor instead of the signal tap? You can find it at Quartus Software, Tools> In-System memory content editor.
