Signal name display in SignalTap

Is there a way to get SignalTap to display signal names only without displaying the entire path to the signal? I'm tying to use the Beta GUI because I'm running SignalTap on a system over the Interne...

The full name is needed internally to identify the signal unequivocally, I think. You may want to use shorter instance and component names to avoid "ridiculously" long identifiers. But you can set a short alias name. You can modify the stp file on a local computer with SignalTap or edit the *.stp XML file directly.
