SDRAM Controller will be dropped from Quartus Lite!!

I just spotted this warning in QSYS:-

"sdram controller will only be supported in Quartus Prime Standard Edition in the future release."

Any thoughts / suggestions??

Stick to Quartus Prime Standard Edition in the future.

    It's £2,340 (Digikey# 544-1247-ND) for Quartus Standard- Node locked !

IPS-EMBEDDED might be cheaper ... (Mouser# 989-IPS-EMBEDDED, £786) Embedded IP Suite: A value bundle that contains licenses for the Nios II processor IP core, Triple-Speed Ethernet IP core, 16550 compatible UART and high-performance , DDR/DDR2/DDR3 SDRAM IP cores and high-performance DDR SDRAM IP core

There's nothing wrong with sticking to the version of Quartus you're currently using. Altera support plenty of devices that are only supported by older versions of the tools.

The good news about 16.1 is: Info (20030): Parallel compilation is enabled and will use 4 of the 4 processors detected

With 16.0 it was telling that the parallel compilation is not licensed (I am using free lite version).
