Running Quartus Standard Edition under virtualization

Anybody has experience running Quartus Standard Edition under a VMware workstation? I used the Lite/free/web edition without any problem. But never tried the ​licensed edition. Does the license manag...

Thanks. But not quite sure I understand. Are you using a fixed or a floating license? If it is fixed, why do you need a remote license server​ at all? Shouldn't be able to run the license server locally on the VM?
