New ContributorRetrieving license from Altera guard ID
Hi,
We have a copy of a license for Quartus II 15.0, but the user/employee that it was originally registered to has left the company. We've been using the same license.dat file since, but lost it in a recent drive failure.
Would it be possible to transfer the license to a different user and generate a new .dat file? And what documentation would be needed?
We have a Guard ID issued to us in a renewal email, but it seems to be legacy as it doesn't match the format that the chatbot says is needed (TXXXXXXXXX).
