rapid recompile in Quartus 12.1

I cant enabled rapid recompile with the new Quartus II 12.1 release for my Stratix IV projects, which was working in all previous Quartus versions so far. The option is completely grayed out in the compilation process settings, for both projects allready extisting or created new with 12.1. Its quite annoying as compilation time increases a lot(from 10 to 20min on a small project, from 1h to 1h30min on a bigger project).

For Stratix V projects, I can enable rapid recompile also in 12.1.

Anybody else having the same problem or any solution?

    I have the same issue with Arria V. I believe that the rapid recompile was available with 12.0sp2. But I upgraded to 12.1 and it is greyed out.

    I opened a service request, still waiting for a final solution. It seams to be a serious problem. I will post the solution whenever I will get one.

    I have the problem with quatus version 12.1 Service Pack Installed: 1

    FWIW, the rapid recompile option is also grayed out also with Stratix III project in quartus 12.1 sp1. Maybe I have set some option which causes this, I don't know.
