quartus support for CvP on arria 5?

Good evening,

We have been prototyping a PCIe-based card which includes an Arria V. One of the main reasons we switched the platform to Arria V from Arria II was the advertised ability to reprogram the card via the PCIe link (Configuration via Protocol) without needing to restart the host machine.

CvP support in Quartus for the Stratix V has been included for several releases now. However, still in 13.1 the CvP Settings configuration tab has CvP greyed out with "n/a in Arria V". I assume that this is due to lack of support in Quartus 13.1..?

The Arria V errata indicates that the earlier die revisions had a hardware bug that made this functionality unavailable. However, the new die revisions which should support this are available, but I can't for the life of me see how to enable this feature in quartus. There is no Stratix with the same pinout as our Arria, so we cannot validate our layout+hdl that way either.

Is there a hidden flag to enable prototype Arria V CvP in 13.1?

When is CvP support for Arria V expected to be released?

Thanks!
