Hi,

Yes I've since installed the correct update and the Cygwin installation itself works -- we encountered some other issues though (posted by itself) which are being addressed.

The machine is a Dell Latitude with Windows 10 1809 installed; this meant that replacing Cygwin with WSL was a viable option.
