Hi Sheng,
The issue we are experiencing with our IP occurs in Quartus 25.3.1 (not 26.1).
I was able to successfully compile the entire project using Quartus 26.1 on the same machine and operating system (Ubuntu 24), without encountering any fatal errors.
This suggests that Quartus 25.3.1 (Linux) may have a memory management issue when handling large projects with multiple IP blocks. I believe this is the case because reducing the DSP size allows the project to compile successfully.
Do you see any way to resolve this issue with Quartus 24.1 (Linux)?
Long story short, I have listed the cases I tried:
1) Win10 server machine, Quartus 24.1 -> successful build
2) Win11 Desktop, Quartus 24.1 -> fatal error at "Support logic generation"
3) Ubuntu 24, Quartus 24.1 -> fatal error when compiling large projects at the synthesis phase, but it can build small projects
4) Ubuntu 24, Quartus 26.1 -> successful build
Possible provide the minimal project? Or possible use the latest version? Because probably some of the bug had been fixed in latest release

Yes. We are considering migration to Q26.1.

Understood that. It's better to use the latest version one
