I have a MacBook Pro with the M1 chip processor. I can't seem to be able to open Quartus Lite once I download the .tar file. I've tried downloading parallel to use windows download but it still will not open. has anyone been able to solve this issue?

    Hi,

Could you try to re-download the tar file on parallels and re-install Quartus?

The Apple M1 processor is an ARM based architecture.

What makes you believe any of the Quartus WIndows or Linux versions which are all Intel X86 architecture will work on an Apple ARM based system?
