Quartus Lite for Mac

I have a MacBook Pro with the M1 chip processor. I can't seem to be able to open Quartus Lite once I download the .tar file. I've tried downloading parallel to use windows download but it still will ...

Could you try to re-download the tar file on parallels and re-install Quartus?
