Quartus II: no .sof or output file generated

Fellow peers,

I am working on stratix v Development board and i am using the 30 free day trial while I still can. The project contains 10G mac/phy and ddr3 ram and all compiles well. The problem is that I can see any .sof or output file being generated. Is this likely to be a licensing issue or have I not set something up correctly?

    It's quite likely to be a licensing issue. You should see a warning message in Quartus' system console window (or on your console if running that way) indicating that's the case - assuming that is the case. Something along the lines of 'warning: can't generate programming files because you are currently using the quartus ii software in evaluation mode'

    Hi, yes its a licence problem. Found this in the assembler messages...

    Warning (292011): Can't generate programming files because you are currently using the Quartus II software in Evaluation Mode.
