with small designs , i don't have this problem , but when i start to compile a bigger designs this kind of Quartus II internal error come out.

the full compilation pass but after 5 or 6 attempts. so a compilation of 15 minutes takes more than 1 hour.

i tried to install SP2 but when i execute the install nothing happen , though i downloads the SP2 install from altera web site.

Hi,

you said "the full compilation pass but after 5 or 6 attempts" does that mean that the error doesn't occur in every run ?

Only to sort out where the problem comes from, can you choose a large e.g StratixIII device and try again ?
