Honored ContributorI can't get the installer to work at all, it down loads the files (2.6GB in all) and this goes fine; took about 5 hours, and then when it goes through the installation process and completes - the menu entry, and the exe it points to doesn't exist.
But I phoned my altera rep up and he shall be getting an installation disk to me soon; but he did say as this new version doesn't use the standard IDE, and the compiler engine has been re written to be a lot faster. Sorry I can't be too helpful, but I thought I would share what I was told yesterday. Other than that I can't seem to use windows 7 & altera - which is annoying. Cheers, MRb
