Quartus hangs on startup after 9.1 sp1 install

I've had quartus 9.1 work fine on my Ubuntu Linux system for a while now. I finally decided to install sp1 to bring it up to date. Now, when I start quartus it just hangs with a blank window. ...

Thank you Ivan, I just noticed your post and changing the mw directories worked for me too.

I actually like the qgui interface better and will be glad when they finally get rid of MainWin, but like you I found it to be incomplete.
