Quartus freezes when selecting text in editor

I have the problem that Quartus II sometimes freezes when I select text in the built in text editor. Quartus then does not react to anything except ctrl+c. I have seen this with Quartus II 11.1sp2...

It seems like you have a good test case. I suggest opening a support case with Altera with it giving them the same instructions for reproducing the issue.

By the way, I confirmed it in Quartus 12.0 64 bit under Ubuntu 10.04

Since it is happening in both Windows and Linux and you have an easy to reproduce test case, they should have no problem identifying the issue.
