Quartus and SignalTap & Memory Editor

I have been running Quartus 64 Bit, Version 12.1, Build 177 for windows. What I'm finding is that Quartus crashes frequently when I try to use Signal Tap and the In System Memory Content Editor at the same time, although only one tool is used at any given point in time. There is a long crash dump of information related to Qt that comes up. This has become annoying and I'm wondering if anyone else is noticing this type of problem.

Additionally, even if crashing increases just by using SignalTap itself. Thanks, James

I suggest you upgrade to V12.1sp1, as there is a fix in this release that hopefully fixes your problem

I am installing Quartus 12.1, Build 243, which is the SP1. I am going to keep a log of crashes going forward, and see if this service pack solves the issue. Thanks, James

SignalTap and in system Memory Content editor performance seems improved with SP1. Thank you for the feedback. James
