Quartus 13.0 SP1 no available devices

I installed Quartus 13.0 SP1 on my Windows XP sp3 32bit machine, along with Cyclone V device support. I was trying to create a new project based on Cyclone V 5CEA5 using new project wizard. When it came to Family & Device settings, there was no devices on available device list. I am sure the Cyclone V device support was successfully installed because I was able to pick Cyclone V in Family drop down box.

Anybody has the same problem? Please help me out.

    Do you solve this issue? I have the same issue with the quartus 21.1, may be your solution works for the 21.1 to.

      You realize this thread is from ~10 years ago, right?

      The user ids in the old Altera forum posts have all been anonymized when it was ported to Intel forum,
      so Altera_Forum is not a real user anymore.
