Quartus 10.0 Download problem

Your not on your own in this; I had to get the NIOS 10 software from my altera rep, which now has installed and is running - but with problems. If you do the down load expect the delay to be around 7 hours (download and installation) but once you are installed, you will notice that the program folder is a little light, this is because there is an issue with the installer file, it doesn't work properly.

I strongly recommend that you approach your rep who will send you the DVD through the post, but at present I am having major issues getting anything to compile at all; even demo programs & the simple 'hello world' doesn't even work; problem being that the root path seems to be mismatched.

Oh well, I shall see what's what next week.
