When I originally attempted this, I allowed it to run for no less than 12 hours on a corporate internet connection. It doesn't hang during the download process though, it skips it entirely and then hangs on the install process.

Thanks for the direct link to the stand-alone installers though; I think there is a much higher chance these will work.
