QII PRE_MAPPING_RESYNTHESIS assignment

Does anyone know which button/setting in the Quartus II assignments is associated with the PRE_MAPPING_RESYNTHESIS assignment setting I see in my QSF. I went through the settings in the GUI, but I I could not identify the culprit. The description in the QSF reference manual did not help me identify it either.
