Problem with Modelsim altera starter edition

Hello,i can't execute Modelsim altera starter edition (i've tried with versions 6.5b for quartus 9.1 sp1 and sp2,but it however doesn't work!).When I open the program (obviously after I have installed the program) appear the following window(paste in the browser):

I've tried on two different pc,but the error is the same.Can anybody help me?

    Hi

    Have a look at windows environnement variables.

    One variable is LM_LICENSE_FILE

    Search on Altera Web site too (if you didn't).

    ModelSim-Altera Starter Edition shouldn't require a license, but ModelSim-Altera Edition does. are you sure you installed Starter?
