Honored ContributorHi - does anyone know how to keep Quartus from inferring a mult-accum? I know you can turn it off for the entire design, and I know you can turn it off for a MULT with the multstyle parameter. But I can't seem to keep it from using a hard DSP block for a mult-accum it inferred from logic.

Honored ContributorMultstyle synthesis attributes can be also used on design entities (an architecture). In so far you have a means to control DSP inference for part of your design. There may be also indirect ways by "keeping" specific design nodes.
