PPM detector does not detect rate switch (rx_freqlocked does not de-assert)

Hi,

When using two transceiver channels (ALTGX) and changing the transmitter data rate with ALTGX_RECONFIG on the Stratix IV then, to my understandings, the PPM detector of the recipient should detect the rate change and de-assert rx_freqlocked (in Automatic Lock Mode).

The problem was described in Altera's Knowledge Base under Support Solution with the Solution ID rd11012010_759

I updated to Quartus II Version 10.1 and also tried the work around mentioned on the above page. None of both worked for me.

Does anybody have some experience with detecting data rate switch at the receiver?
