PowerPlay Early Power Estimator missing file error

I downloaded the PowerPlay Early Power Estimator from Altera's web site. When I open the spreadsheet and enable the macros, I get the following error messsage:

Permission error when loading epe_zlib.dll form temporary directory!

Error: 53

File not found: epe_zlib.dll

Temporary Directory: C:\Users\{my_username}\AppData\Local\Temp

Anybody know what the problem might be?

BTW, I am running Windows 7 and Excel 2007.

No, I had not seen that.

Unfortunately, it doesn't help me, either.

If I download and run the 32-bit version, I get the error in the original post.

If I download and run the 64-bit version, I get the following error:

This EPE is for Microsoft Excel 2010 64-bit

Please download EPE for Microsoft Excel 93-2007 from Altera website.

Most likely because I am running Excel 2007, not Excel 2010.

I am running on a 64-bit machine; I can check with IT to see if a 64-bit version of Excel 2010 is approved for use within the company (not too likely, I think).

Other than that, is there anything else I should try?

This has to be a bug, because I see the same errors.

Specifically, I know that I am running Excel 2010 32 bit and I get the error message that I need to download the Excel 2010 64 bit EPE when I open the 32 bit EPE in Excel.

Can someone verify that the EPE works even with this warning? It seems like it is working, but I don't seem to be able to pick the correct Arria II GZ device.

    Thank you
