Power Estimation and Glitch Filtering

I am currently trying to do get some power estimation results for a cyclone 2 design. I have ran into number of problems with the quartus 2 software related to importing in VCD files, so I wrote a script myself to import transition activity data generated by modelsim into the quartus 2 power analyzer. This gives comparable power estimates to the VCD file route only when the power analyzer does not perform glitch filtering as it reads in the VCD. Is there any way to create the glitch filtering effect in modelsim directly ?
