Hi all,

The Intel "Introduction to Platform Designer", slide 4.7 provides following partial answer to the question:

'If a 16-bit component is connected to the 32-bit component, a width adapter is automatically added and data is handled appropriately." It is from the example so I assume, that it holds true for other width sizes as well.
