New ContributorThanks Kenny. Do you know if the Windows 10 issue would interfere if I used a Linux Virtual Machine on top of it, or does it require a linux as the host O/S?

Seems like we have patch for this https://www.intel.com/content/altera-www/global/en_us/index/support/support-resources/knowledge-base/tools/2020/fatal--cannot-generate-ip-in-a-windows-evironment-.html. error message is almost the same as mention below.
